The Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival is coming up this weekend, April 18-20, 2014. I will be there Saturday, the 19th. If you’re in the area, come by and say “hi”! I’ll be spinning with my spinning group on my new Hansen Mini Spinner.
For those of you who were holding your breath waiting for the results of Rick’s playoff tennis match…His team did not win on Saturday, therefore, Rick did not get to play on Sunday. Boo!
For your sipping pleasure, here is the recipe for Purple Haze:
2 oz. Vodka 
3/4 oz. Lemon/Lime juice (equal parts) 
1 oz. Simple Syrup 
1 oz. Blackberry Puree 
dash of sparkling water/soda water
Yum!
And Theo Chocolate is a must try! I especially love the Salted Almond Dark Chocolate!!

My Monsoon shawl is coming along nicely. Just have the edging to finish.

I’ve been happily plugging away at my rug hooking with the goal of finishing the center ‘bouquet’ by the end of April.
